JOHNSTOWN — MILLER – Mary Elizabeth, 89, The Village of Nanty Glo, formerly of Connor Towers, Johnstown, died Jan. 23, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 27, 1923, in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Cecila (Stout) Wagner. Preceded in death by husband, Herbert Edward Miller; son, Herbert Joseph Miller; daughter, Margaret (Miller) Parkinson; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Grace, Naomi and Helen. Survived by sons, John H., married to Nancy Chase; and William Samuel, married to Mini Young, all of Johnstown; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; also brother, Norman Wagner. Also survived by many friends at the Connor Towers. Mary was employed by the former Mercy Hospital in housekeeping. She was loved by all who knew her. Friends will be received from noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd., the Rev. Paul Zomerfeld, officiating.
