JOHNSTOWN — TILSON – Edward W. (Brogden), 55, passed suddenly Jan. 17, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Dec. 11, 1957, in Quantico, Va., and was the beloved son of Beverly and Gerald Brogden. Preceded in death by biological father, William Tilson. Survived by mother and stepfather, Beverly and Gerald; and siblings, Christine Gates (Andrew), Barbara Yon (Joseph), Debra Haver (Michael) and Andrew. Also survived by nieces, Cassidy, Bailey and Rachel; and nephews, Ryan and Bradey. Edward also leaves Michael and David Tilson, and grandson, Caleb. Eddie was a 1974 graduate of Altoona High School. He retired from Conrail. He will be eternally loved and missed by family and all of his friends. Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his family, 1600 Linwood Ave. Arrangements by Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber.
