Samuel Thomas Louder Sr.

WINDBER — LOUDER – Samuel Thomas Sr., 81, Windber, died Jan. 23, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 23, 1931, in Windber, son of Eugene C. and Jane R. (Pomroy) Louder. Preceded in death by parents and wife, Leona F. (Harr) Louder, who died June 15, 2000. Survived by son, Samuel Thomas Jr., married to Kathy Nisewonger, Duncannon; daughters, Leona Lynne, wife of Richard Wagner, Harrisburg; and Debra Louise, wife of Donald Pudliner, Johnstown; nine grandchildren; brothers, Ken, Spring, Texas; James, Morrisville; Raymond “Chuck,” South Fork; and David, Clarion; sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Skrout, Wilmore; and Nancy Patterson, Lititz. Sam was a graduate of Adams Township High School, Class of 1950. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. after 33 years of service. Member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Salix. Former member of Adams Township Lions Club and volunteered with Windber Hospice. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Don Poole. Interment, Dunmyer Cemetery, Salix. (www.dimondfuneralhome.com)
