MINERAL POINT — LEWIS – Lloyd F., 97, Mineral Point, died Jan. 29 , 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 3, 1915, in Homer City, son of Frank and Ellen (Ritchey) Lewis. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Florence C. (Beck) Lewis, who died Jan. 3, 2001; daughter, Sharon, who died in December 2010; son, Daniel; brother, Marlin Lewis; and four infant sisters. Survived by “his little angel” daughter, Debbie, at home; grandchildren, Danny and Jesse; three great-grandchildren; sister, Catherine Hauser, Johnstown; son-in-law, Larry Fender, Vinco; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-niece and -nephews; also special friend and neighbor, Joe. Lloyd worked as a coal miner, having retired from Cooney Bros. Coal Co. He was a most remarkable horseshoe player and enjoyed baseball and family outings. Lloyd was a very special man who loved his Lord and was loved dearly by all the lives he touched. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. Thursday at Charles O.
