BOSWELL — BENDICK – Lucille M. (Romano), 86, Boswell, died Jan. 31, 2013, at In Touch Hospice House. Born Aug. 1, 1926, in Scalp Level, daughter of Patsy and Therese (Capatch) Romano. Preceded in death by parents; and sister, Ann Gentile. Survived by husband of 58 years, Frank J.; children, Frank A., married to Connie (Matse), Boswell; Lucy M., married to Terry Lappi, Jerome; and Christine Scrimager, and fiance, Michael Budzina, Boswell; grandchildren, Kristi, married to Chad Lisbon, Jennerstown; Heidi, married to Brian Bernasconi, New City, N.Y.; Heather Lappi, Philadelphia; and Alex Bendick, Boswell; great-grandson, Connor Lisbon; brother, Sam Romano, and wife, Barbara, Royal Oak, Mich.; brother-in-law, Reno Gentile, Windber; sisters-in-law, Jean, married to Donald Hall, Johnstown; and Kathy Straub, Harrisburg; and aunt, Rose Capatch, and uncle, Bill Capatch, both of Madera, Pa. A 1944 graduate of Windber High School and a graduate of Cambria-Rowe Business College, Johnstown. Former secretary for Gahagen Coal Co., Cambria County War Memorial and Boswell Water Authority. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish. Lucy enjoyed playing cards, dancing and spending time with family. Viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at All Saints Church, Boswell, Rev. Father Justin A. Ratajczak, OFM, Conv., celebrant. Committal, St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
