JOHNSTOWN — ERNST – Carmella, 85, died Feb. 1, 2013, in Johnstown. Born July 18, 1927, in Newark, N.J., daughter of Anna (Shorto) and Frank Trio. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Grace Coby; brother, Joseph Trio; and brother-in-law, Austin Rilogio. Survived by her husband, Harry; sister, Mary Rilogio; brother, Frank Trio; brother, Anthony Trio; brother, Eugene Trio, married to Carol; brother, Nicholas; and brother, James Trio. Also survived by brother-in-law, Ernest Coby; numerous nieces and nephews; and godchildren. She retired from the former Kline’s Shoe and loved bowling at the Austrian Hall. She was known as the “Candy Lady.” She was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Very Rev. James S. Crookston.
