WESTMONT — EASTERBROOK – Helen Marie, 87, Westmont, died Feb. 6, 2012. Born Feb. 21, 1925, daughter of the late Robert and Elsie Gindlesperger. Preceded in death by second husband, Robert Easterbrook; first husband, Irvin W. Ernest; son, Terry Ernest; and sisters, Roberta Miller, Ruth Wissinger and Betty Pasko. Survived by sons, Robert Ernest, and wife, Pamela (Knowlton); Gary Ernest, and wife, Nancy (Mirilovich); and Mark Ernest; daughter, Sharon Blasko, and husband, Gregory; grandchildren, Stephanie Rimbach, Gary Ernest Jr., Amy Shah, Jennifer Grady, Matthew Ernest, Jennifer Ernest, Christopher Blasko, Bobby Ernest, Lori McClure, Michael Ernest and Amy Conway; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Rice; and her beloved pet cat, Nicky; also many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Helen retired from Bestform Co., where she served as a floor supervisor. She was well known in her community for her talents as a seamstress. During the years, she made many gowns for proms and weddings for family and friends. At Helen’s request, there will be no public viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Moskal-Reid Funeral Home, West End, is in charge of arrangements.
