JOHNSTOWN — BERKEBILE – Pauline J, formerly of Adams Street, died Feb. 6, 2013, at Laurel View Village. Daughter of Joseph and Rose (Vizzini) DiMauro. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Harold “Berkey” who died in 1993; brothers, James and Charles DiMauro; and sisters, Josephine Carino and Angeline Distefano. Survived by daughters, Margaret, married to Robert Bero; and Joyce Hohman, all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Andrew Bero; Judy (Bero), married to Robert Sliko; Mark Bero, married to Diane; Amy (Hohman), married to Chris Runkle; John “Jay” Hohman, married to Kathy; and Paula (Hohman), married to Bradley Steiner; great-grandchildren, Bobby, Matt, Lily, Ella, Emily, Mason, and twins Luke and Tristan; and many nieces and nephews. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She retired from St. John/Central Catholic Schools after 30 years as cafeteria manager. She was very passionate that no child should go hungry. Pauline was a life member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, and volunteered on many committees and served on the parish church council. Funeral Mass will be held at noon Saturday, the Very Rev. James F. Crooksten. Friends received from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.
