JOHNSTOWN — ZIMA – John, 80, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord Feb. 12, 2013. Born Dec. 24, 1932, in Johnstown, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Lichvar) Zima. Preceded in death by brothers, Michael and Joseph Jr.; and sisters, Agnes and Mary Zima, Ann Patay and Margaret Weiman. Survived by sisters, Betty Kennedy, Johnstown; and Helen Nadolski, Michigan; son, Dennis Campbell, Johnstown; daughter, Brenda Campbell, and fiance, Warren Whitmyre, Johnstown; grandchildren, Kristie, Dennis Jr., Ashley and Sarah; and grandpuppy, Maxx. John was a Korean War veteran. He had a great love for his family and was a proud “Pappy.” He loved hunting and was an avid outdoorsman. At his request, there will be no viewing. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road, the Rev. Chuck Bridges, officiating. Committal service immediately following at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Military rites to be performed by Menoher VFW Post 155.
