LANCASTER — KAUFMANN – Ralph W., 87, 675 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, died Thursday, April 14, 2011, after facing an extended illness with humor and dignity at Lancaster General Hospital. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Lancaster and Lancaster South Rotary Club. Was previously active in Switzerland with the Rotary Club, enjoyed sailing, skiing and reading and will be remembered by many for his and Dottie’s philanthropic generosity. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Larry G., husband of Marilou Kaufmann, Gastonia, N.C., and Roger Edward, husband of Kate Kaufmann, Oberrieden, Pa.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the life celebration memorial service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at St. James Episcopal Church, corner of North Duke and Orange streets, Lancaster, Pa. 17602, the Rev.
