JENNERS — GARRETY – Robert B., 68, Jenners, died Nov. 18, 2012, at In Touch Hospice House, Somerset. Born Feb. 29, 1944, in Steubenville, Ohio, son of John Law and Elizabeth (Shoble) Garrety. Preceded in death by parents; son, Robert Weldon Garrety; sisters, Margaret Figard and Elizabeth McGuire; brother, John Garrety; and father- and mother-in-law, Rush and Virginia Berkebile. Survived by wife, the former Wanita Berkebile; daughters, Rene Kimmel, Jenners; Jacqueline, married to Val Campbell, Somerset; and Bobbi Dee, married to Jeremy Harding, Boswell; granddaughter, Lynnae Kimmel; special little buddy, Shawn Purchase; sister, Mary Catherine Hurtak, Harrisburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. A 1962 graduate of Johnstown High School. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an electronics technician for Welding Services Inc., Norcross, Ga. Member of United Mine Workers, United Steelworkers, International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and Jenner Rod & Gun Club. Life member of Somerset Post 554 VFW. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and flying in his airplane. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Kurtis L.
