SEWARD — WINGARD – Sandra L. “Sandy,” 73, Seward, died Nov. 19, 2012, at her home. Born Jan. 2, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Daylten and Rose (Moberly) Carpentier. Survived by husband, Ronald Wingard, whom she married Jan. 9, 1959; children, Michael Wingard, and wife, Esperanza, Apalachin, N.Y.; Scott Wingard, and wife, Eileen, York, Pa.; Saundra Geary, Miami, Fla.; and David Wingard, Seward; and grandchildren, Zachery Geary, Christina Wingard, Lauren Wingard and Barrett Wingard. Member of Armagh United Methodist Church. She served as co-vice president of Amperes and served as a volunteer at Conemaugh Hospital. She was a 1957 graduate of Johnstown High School. Friends received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 a.m. until the hour of service at 9:30 a.m. Friday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Pastor Scott Hamley, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Conemaugh Hospice.
