JOHNSTOWN — VIZZA – Catherine L., 89, Johnstown, died Nov. 19, 2012. Born May 14, 1923, in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Salvatrice (Vancheri) Aliquo. Preceded in death by parents and husband, James A., who died in 1994. Survived by sons, Dr. James Vizza, married to Susan (Hemlock), Johnstown; and Ronald, married to Donna (Pritt), Ebensburg; brother, Donald Aliquo, married to Delores; grandchildren, Ryan, Scott, Christian, Jesse and Sarah; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Lope, married to Patrick; brother-in-law, Merle Vizza, married to Teresa; special friend, Janice Rayha; and nieces and nephews. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Friends and family will meet for funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Rev. Barry J. Baroni. Funeral arrangements by Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown, Pa. 15905.
