JOHNSTOWN — SLIPPY – Goldie E., 97, Johnstown, died Nov. 26, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 24, 1915, in Johnstown, daughter of the late William H. and Mary L. (Kunkle) Mundorff. Preceded in death by husband, Charles T. Slippy; son-in-law, Stanley Korus; two sisters; and three brothers. Survived by children, Cora Hutzler; Ronald Slippy; Estelle M. Korus; Robert T. Slippy, and wife, Maryann (Krug); and Verna J., married to Donald Nelson. Also survived by loving granddaughter, Sheryl Lynn, and 10 other grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren; also two great-great-grandchildren. Goldie was a member of Garfield Street United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. Friday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., Pastor Marjorie Kiefer, officiating.
