JOHNSTOWN — KEAFER – Dwight Stahl, 86, Johnstown, went to be with his Lord Dec. 2, 2012, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born April 7, 1926, at his residence, son of the late Lloyd Sylvester and Edna (Stahl) Keafer. Survived by wife of 64 years, former Donna Jeanne Witt, and these children: Dwight S. Jr., married to Sarah (Barrett), Danville, Vt.; Sheldon W., married to Darlene (Bury), McCall, Idaho; Adrian J., married to Kathy (Claycomb), Johnstown; and Jeffrey D., married to Victoria (Calhoun), Somerset. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Brother of Lloyd S. Jr. (Elaine); David H. (Gen); Eleanor K. Mock; and Ann Griffith (Donald). Dwight was a member of St. David’s Lutheran Church, where he was a member of the Lutheran Men’s Group. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Farmers Association (PFA) and the Conemaugh Township Historical Society. Dwight was a World War II veteran. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. David’s Lutheran Church, Davidsville, Pastor N. Gregory Vandyke, officiating. Interment, Stahl Mennonite Cemetery. Those who wish can make donations to St. David’s Lutheran Church or Johnstown Christian School in Dwight’s memory.
