BON AIR — PAVINA – Donald W. Sr. “Bill,” 71, Bon Air, died Dec. 2, 2012, at home. Born March 9, 1941, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by stepfather, Anthony Zallar and mother, Theresa (Pavina) Zallar. Survived by wife of 50 years, former Lois J. Munko; daughters, Cheri Lynn Lane, and husband, Scott, Eads, Tenn., and Kelly Anne McClain, and husband, Todd, Bon Air; son, Donald W. Jr., Bon Air; and grandchildren, Cheslie Burns, Kasey Anne McClain and Trinity Jeanne Lane. Also survived by numerous cousins and faithful compainion, “Buddy.” Bill was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and was a U.S. Air Force veteran during the Vietnam Era. He loved doing things with his grandchildren and loved camping. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Friends are invited to a memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, Nancy Hoover, officiating. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to your favorite charity.
