PITTSBURGH — KLEINMEYER – James R. Jr., 49, Pittsburgh, formerly of Johnstown, died Dec. 5, 2012. Born April 29, 1963, in Johnstown, son of James R. Sr. and Leona J. (Murray) Kleinmeyer. Preceded in death by brother, Robert Kleinmeyer, and paternal and maternal grandparents. Survived by parents, Johnstown; sister, Pamela, married to Paul Smiach, Davidsville; brother, David Kleinmeyer, Las Vegas, Nev.; nephew, Kyle Smiach, Davidsville; and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends. James received his engineering degree from UPJ and his master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University. He enjoyed music and cooking and was an advocate for environmental protection. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Service will be held privately at the family’s convenience.
