SILBAUGH – Mary C. “Kate” (Boback), 75, Twin Rocks, passed away Dec. 8, 2012. Born June 27, 1937, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Davis) Boback. Preceded in death by first husband, Robert “Mike” Stephens; second husband, Richard “Mike” Silbaugh; brothers, John “Jr.” and Herb; and sister, Colleen Boback. Survived by daughters, Cheryl (Richard) Long and Bernice (Richard) Llewellyn; grandchildren, Megan, Kelli, Liam and Brynn; and special nephew, Scott Boback. Also survived by sisters, Shirley (Walt) Cunningham, Donna (Don) Ellis and Diana (Dwight) Hess, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Kate enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. John Hickman, officiating. Interment, Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown.
