RICHLAND TOWNSHIP — RICHEY – Richard A., 87, Richland Township, died Dec. 9, 2012, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born June 18, 1925, in Johnstown, son of the late William Russell and Clara (Kreiger) Richey. Preceded in death by brother, Lester; and sister, Alvena. Survived by wife of 68 years, Irene (Baligush) Richey; children, Diane Morley, and husband, Bill; Kenneth Richey, and wife, Sandy; and Russ Richey, and wife, Teressa, all of Richland Township; grandchildren, Lisa Fiffick, and husband, Brian; Cindi Cox, and husband, Tim; Ryan Richey; and Tyler Richey; great-grandchildren, Hayden Cox, Lindsey Cox and Colton Fiffick; and sister, Erma Gray, Johnstown. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. He had worked as a carpenter. A World War II U.S. Navy veteran. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, the Rev. David A. Peles, celebrant. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded at graveside by members of Charles Menoher Post 155 VFW.
