JUNCTION CITY, ORE. — EMERICK – James R., 76, Junction City, Ore., formerly of St. Benedict; Fairmont, W.Va.; Belsano; and Johnstown, died peacefully in his sleep Feb. 8, 2013, in Junction City. Born Dec. 4, 1936, in Spangler, son of the late John and Ethel (Boyer) Emerick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret “Peg” Legrand. Survived by wife, Marge; and children, Charles “Chuck,” and wife, Darlene; James “Jim,” and wife, Katrina; Jeanne, and husband, Doug Tryon; and Juliana, and husband, John Copen. There are eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother, John G. (Dorothy) Emerick; and sister, Patricia (Daniel) Kelly, and their families. Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve, having served with the chemical detachment at the Johnstown Reserve Center. He left the service as a sergeant first class.
