TERCHEK – Robert F. Sr., 75, Easton, passed away Feb. 20, 2013, at home. Born Jan. 7, 1938, in Carbondale, son of the late Frank and Josephine (Oven) Terchek. Survived by wife of 51 years, former Florence Hogue, whom he married Aug. 5, 1961, in Loretto, and children, Robert Jr., and wife, Corinne, Lansdale; Thomas, and wife, Kathleen, Warren, N.J.; Christine Bates, and husband, Ian, Collegeville; Dr. Melissa Terchek-Woods, and husband, Daniel, Myrtle Beach, S.C. Cherished grandfather of Robert lll, Austin, Nicholas, Kendall, Katherine, Elizabeth and Victoria. Also sister, Joan Handy, and husband, Richard, Brielle, N.J. Graduate of St. Francis University, Loretto, and worked professionally as a manufacturing sales representative. He served honorably in the National Guard. Member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Easton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto. Committal, St. Michael Cemetery. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville.
