HEMING – Edward G., 76, Richland Township, died Feb. 22, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 1, 1936, in Johnstown, son of Richard and Amelia (Lentz) Heming. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Raymond E. and Richard; stepbrother, Ralph Roberts; and stepsisters, Mildred Green and Dorthea Lobash. Survived by wife, former Joyce Cole; children, Stacy Heming and Edward C. (Mindy Domineck), both of Johnstown; grandchildren, Tiffani, Krystal, Cole and Dennilyn; and great-granddaughter, Alison. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, and canine companion, “Pugsly.” Brother of Bernard, Anchorage, Alaska. He was a member of American Legion Post 849. Retired from GTE and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held Thursday. Funeral service time will be published in Wednesday’s paper. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
