JOHNSTOWN — BREGMAN – Freda, born Jan. 8, 1915, in South Fork, to Abraham and Sarah Lewine, passed away Feb. 23, 2013, at the age of 98. She resided in Johnstown until 1979, when she and her husband moved to Margate, Fla. She was preceded in death by Emanuel, her devoted husband of 67 years. She is survived by children, Dr. Alvin Bregman, and wife, Elissa, Watertown, N.Y.; Mrs. Sallie Nelson, and husband, Dr. Richard, Orinda, Calif.; and Dr. Richard Bregman, and wife, Ellen, Tulsa, Okla. She has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a very active member in Hadassah and the Sisterhood at Temple Beth Am in Margate, Fla. She was a very loving and caring wife and mother who will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
