HARRISBURG — CONWAY – Yvonne E. (Lassak), 59, Harrisburg, passed away surrounded by her family Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence. Yvonne was born in Altoona and was the daughter of Sally Lassak, Lilly, and the late Frank Lassak. She was currently employed by Interstate Tax Service as an employer tax auditor. She retired in 2007 after 35 years of service with the Department of Labor and Industry. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her mother, Yvonne is survived by her husband of 29 years, William E. Conway; one son, Randy Conway, Swatara Township; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jeanie Davis, Altoona; Jackie Lingafelt, Lilly; Elaine Scanlon, Virginia Beach, Va.; and Sharon Ferguson, Leitchfield, Ky.; one brother, Francis “Fran” Lassak, Sequim, Wash.; and nieces and nephews. Family and friends were received at Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Harrisburg. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, Feb. 18, at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg. Celebrant was the Very Rev. E. J. Quinlan. Entombment, Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Capital Campaign, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg, Pa. 17112.
