HAGERSTOWN, MD. — FINDLEY – Marilyn Hickenbottom, 82, Hagerstown, Md., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at her home. Born July 25, 1930, in Barnesville, Ohio, to the late John Henry and Eva Gertrude Bethel Hickenbottom. Preceded in death by husband, Archie Matthew Findley Jr., on March 28, 2012. She was a graduate of Barnesville High School, Barnesville, Ohio, and Hagerstown Junior College School of Nursing, Hagerstown, Md. She was employed as a registered nurse at Western Maryland Hospital Center, Hagerstown, Md., until retiring in 1993. Member of Church of the Holy Trinity United Church of Christ, Hagerstown, Md. Survivors Include daughter, Joyce A. Bussard, and husband, John, Hagerstown, Md.; sons, Dale E. Findley, and wife, Linda, Clear Spring, Md.; Gary A. Findley, Sharpsburg, Md.; Archie M. Findley III, and wife, Carol, Hagerstown, Md.;; John W. Findley, Boonsboro, Md.; and James C. Findley, and companion, Grace, Williamsport, Md.; sisters, Dorothy E. Motter, Albuquerque, N.M.; and Carolyn B. Campbell, Barnesville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers, Paul M. Hickenbottom and Everett R. Hickenbottom; and sister, Margaret J. Hickenbottom. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md. The funeral home will be open after 1 p.m. Sunday for the convenience of family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., the Rev. Timothy Leighton, officiating. Interment, Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, Md.
