KUBIC– Robert J., 77, Northfield Village, Ohio, died Saturday, March 2, 2013. Robert was born in Robindale, Pa., son of the late Joseph and Catherine (nee Ziemba) Kubic. Beloved husband of Rena (Zucco). Dear father of Bob (Pam) Kubic, Linda (Bob) Podojil and David Kubic. Loving grandfather of Lauren and Jordan Podojil and Chrissy (Johnny) Gribble. Great-grandfather of Ashley, Alex, Bradley, Joshua and Matthew. Brother of Mary, Kay, George, Clara, Margie and the late Rose, Julie, Mickey, Frank, Josie, Joni and Joseph. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Navy as an aeronautical technician. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to Holy Family Hospice 6707 State Road, Parma, Ohio 44134 or the American Cancer Society. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 99 W. Aurora Road, Northfield Center, Ohio 330-468-1433, where prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield Center, Ohio. Burial, Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery.
