PATTON — BAKER – Morris P. “Moose,” 80, Patton, passed away March 3, 2013. Born Feb. 26, 1933, in Spangler, the son of Roy D. and Regina M. (Weakland) Baker. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Cletus, Francis and Blaine; and sisters, Agnes Hicks, Bernadine Stevens and Delores Zimmerman. Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Janet (Litzinger) Baker; child- ren, Wayne (Marie) Baker, Barnegat, N.J.; Randall Baker, Patton; Dale Baker, Patton; Wanda (Joseph) Selby, Elmora; Joanne Baker, Patton; Michele (Jim) Sumner, Ashville; Scott (Jackie) Baker, Coalport; and Sherri Eckenrode (Ken Greene), Ebensburg; also 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother of Raymond Baker, Hastings; Blair Baker, Alabama; Freda Litzinger, Patton; and Hazel Lutz, Ohio. U.S. Army veteran. Retired coal miner from Bethlehem Mine No. 33. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Pastor Jim Sunseri officiating. Committal, Fairview Cemetery, Patton.
