JOHNSTOWN — SHAFFER – Timothy B., 58, Upper Yoder Township, died March 5, 2013, in Johnstown. Born May 20, 1954, in Johnstown, son of Wilford and Margaret (Nicely) Shaffer. Preceded in death by parents and brother, D. Keith Shaffer. Survived by brother, Richard M. Shaffer, and wife, Sheila, Washington, D.C.; and nieces, Renee Shaffer Galvin, married to Sean Galvin, Covington, La.; and Elizabeth M., married to Rick Smith, and children, Grace M. Smith and Anderson M. Smith, all of Oxford, UK. Timothy was a 1972 graduate Westmont Hilltop High School. He was employed by BiLo Market in Westmont for 33 years. He was a Penn State football fan, AAABA and local baseball teams fan, and enjoyed the performances at the Roxbury Bandshell. Member of Roxbury St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Pastor Wayne Sedei. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Roxbury St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 160 Derby St., Johnstown, Pa. 15905, in memory of Timothy B. Shaffer.
