COLUMBUS, OHIO — STREILEIN – Mary C., 83, formerly of Dunnellon, Fla., died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Friendship Village of Columbus, Columbus, Ohio. Born Aug. 19, 1927, in Hollsopple, daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Skelko) Andrews. Preceded in death by son, William F. Streilein; brother, William Andrews; and sisters, Josephine Andrews and Dorothy Patterson. Survived by husband of 55 years, Walter; son, Tim, and wife, Robin Streilein; grandsons, Andrew and Ryan; daughter, Pamela Yarrow, and husband, Donald; sisters, Ann Moore; Patricia Horn, and husband, Norman; and Janet Pattavina, and husband, Bob; brother, Robert Andrews, and wife, Teresa; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary and her husband Walter (a C.I.A. employee) were stationed around the world in Taiwan, Germany, Greece, Liberia and England. She enjoyed living in different countries and experiencing new cultures. They retired to Florida and continued their travels within the United States often attending C.I.A. reunions. She engaged in social and church activities within her community. She will be remembered as a loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at noon Tuesday at St. Anne’s Church, Davidsville, Father Michael Lewandowski, OFM, Conv., officiating. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.
