HAMONKO – Dolores T., 79, formerly of Moxham, died March 17, 2010, at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg. Born Nov. 9, 1930, in Johnstown, daughter of Stanley J. and Sophia (Gacka) Brys. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles Hamonko Sr.; and infant brother, Thomas Brys. Survived by sons, Charles Hamonko Jr., Johnstown; John T. Hamonko, Johnstown; James M. Hamonko, married to the former Tracey Usilton, Hartley, Del.; and Patrick F. Hamonko, married to the former Sandra King, Johnstown. Also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Frances Hilliard, Florida. Dolores retired from Nutrition Inc. Member of St. Patrick Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Ohio Street and Highland Avenue, where vigil service will be held in the afternoon. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Saturday at St. Patrick Church, Father Matthew A. Reese, celebrant. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Patrick Church.
