ZEMAN – Pearl C. (Conigy), 89, of Ebensburg, passed away Oct. 25, 2007, at HAIDA Manor, Hastings. Born July 21, 1918, in Colver, daughter of the late Alfred and Clementa Conigy. Preceded in death by husband, Stanley; daughter, Rose Marie Rech; brothers, Donald, Albert and Joseph Conigy; and sisters, Jenny Risaliti, Ida Cook, Caroline Domenick, Agnes DePaolantonio, Lena Mazzarella and Anna D. Pelizzari. Survived by son, Leonard, married to the former Carol Luther, and son-in-law, Leo Rech, all of Ebensburg. Loving “Nona” to Lisa (Dave) Kozorosky, Ebensburg; Roger (Brenda Kaschalk) Rech, Pittsburgh; Leonard S. Zeman, Ebensburg; Jim (Susanne Browne) Rech, Boston; and Darren (Amy Wychulis) Rech, Harrisburg; and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Leonard (Kate) Conigy of Ebensburg. Along with her husband, Stanley, Pearl was the owner/operator of the former Zeman Motel in Cambria Township for 45 years. Member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church in Ebensburg. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held Sunday evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus, celebrant. Committal, church cemetery.
