HAUSE - Staff Sgt. Brian Paul, 29, U.S. Air Force, Sumter, S.C., formerly of Stoystown, died Oct. 23, 2008, in Iraq. Born June 16, 1979, in Somerset, son of John and Kathy (Leverknight) Hause, Stoystown. Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Mervin Hause. Besides his parents, he also is survived by Angela Boyer Hause; their children, Alexis and Cody Hause; maternal grandparents, Clyde “Bucky” and Joann Leverknight, Stoystown; paternal grandmother, Agnes Hause, Garrett; brothers, Shawn, and fiancee, Myra Cintron; Troy, and wife, Marizol; and Nevin, and wife, Loretta, all of Stoystown; and several special nieces and nephews. A 1998 graduate of Johnstown Christian School. Enlisted in the Air Force in 2001, currently serving as an F-16 crew chief. He received Air Force Achievement, Global War on Terrorism and National Defense medals and Air Force Expeditionary Service and Expert Marksman ribbons. Brian took great pleasure in life, including his guitar and motorcycle and spending time in the outdoors. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 1 until time of service at 2 p.m. Friday at Friedens Lutheran Church, Pastor Tim Farkas officiating. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
