Raymond M. Barwatt

BARWATT– Raymond M. “Jimmy,” 52, Windber, went to be with Jesus on Nov. 7, 2009, at Windber Hospice. Born April 25, 1957, in Johnstown, son of Joseph J. and Agnes M. (Ondesko) Barwatt of Windber. Survived by parents; these brothers and sisters, Kathy, wife of Robert Newcomer, Windber, and their children, Ryan, and wife, Nicole, also Brett and Kelsey; Joseph J. Barwatt, Tomball, Texas, and children, Kelley and Will; Thomas Michael Barwatt, and wife, Chris, South Park, Pa., and children, Cory, Daniel and Holly; Anna, wife of William Barzensky, Johnstown, and children, Jordan and Evan; and Lynne, wife of George Roman, Chicago, Ill., and children, Cameron and Cade. A 1975 graduate of Windber Area High School. Former employee of LaMonaca’s Bakery of Windber, with more than 30 years’ service. Member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber, where Raymond was a commentator. Please note: Due to renovations at St. Elizabeth Church, funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Windber. Committal, St. John Cantius Catholic Cemetery, Windber. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, where Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday and where vigil for the deceased will be held. Donations may be made to Windber Hospice in Raymond’s memory.
