BORING – Charles R., 77, New Florence, died Nov. 10, 2009, at Communities of Indian Haven. Born Aug. 18, 1932, in Lockport, son of the late John Boring and Mary Boring Carmichael. Also preceded in death by stepfather, Russell Carmichael; sister, Pearl Boring; and brother, Morris Boring. Survived by wife of 55 years, Mona (Henderson) Boring; children, Wayne Boring, and wife, Karen, Fayette City; Cherry DeLoreto, and husband, Tony, Indiana; Cindy Yeager, and husband, Cory, Bolivar; Wendy Guittar, Fulton, Mo.; Mark Boring, and wife, Karen, Homer City; and Mary Plivelic, and husband, Chris, Harrison City; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Clara Varchal, Johnstown. Member of First Church of Christ, West Bolivar. A U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown Plant. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at First Church of Christ, West Bolivar, Evangelist Jack Prentice. Interment, Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
