CONARD– Roy, 50, Strongstown, died Nov. 20, 2009, at home. Born Feb. 16, 1959, in Lorraine, Ohio, son of Noah and Myrtle (Temple) Conard. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, Myrtle, Strongstown; brothers, David Conard and Noah Conard Jr., both of Strongstown; sister, Joanne Conard, Washington, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. A 1978 graduate of Penns Manor High School. Worked for Waste Management. Member of Blue Goose Sportsman’s Club. Roy was a die-hard Steelers fan and enjoyed hanging out at Chad’s. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo. Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
