PAYNE – E. LaRue, 78, Robinson, died Nov. 20, 2009, at Beacon Ridge, Indiana. Born July 10, 1931, in Lockport, daughter of James H. and Carrie M. (Robertson) Potts. Also preceded in death by these brothers and sister: James Potts, Ethel Rose Conway, Wilbert “Wib” Potts and Donald Potts. Survived by these children: Dennis J. Payne, and wife, Harriet; Alvin L. “Slug” Payne Jr. and Maryann; and Randolph L. Payne, and wife, Jan, all of New Florence; and Tamera C. Felouzis and Jeff, Robinson; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, William Potts, Blairsville, and Boyd Potts, Robinson; and special friend, Ronald “Peck” Gehring, New Florence. Retired employee of Blairsville Machine. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. John W. Hodge officiating. Private interment at Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
