Mary Grace Miller

MILLER – Mary Grace, 82, formerly of Richland Township, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Laurel View Village, Davidsville, where she resided since 2002. Born March 28, 1927, to the late Leroy E. and Madie (Blough) Felton. She graduated from Ferndale High School in 1945, and was employed at General Telephone Co. part-time for 18 years as a phone operator. She also worked at Miller’s News and other family businesses. Mary Grace was a member of Grove Avenue United Methodist Church. Most important, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by husband of 53 years, Dean D., in 2000; and oldest son, Corey E., in 2000; and brother, Leroy Felton. Survived by sons, Trace D., Towson, Md.; and Lance L., and wife, Keri (Brashears); and grandchildren, Ben and Kate Miller, Newport Coast, Calif.; and Katherine (Dorer), widow of Corey, and husband, John Reed, Johnstown; grandsons, Matthew D., Irvine, Calif.; and Luke C., Johnstown; and sister-in-law, Vivian Miller, North Point, Fla. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Picking-Treece- Bennett Mortuary Inc., West Hills, 921 Menoher Blvd., the Rev. Wes Yoder, officiating. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in her honor be made to Grove Avenue United Methodist Church or National Parkinson Foundation at www.parkinson.org.
