Ebensburg 16, Portage 6
EBENSBURG – Ebensburg’s Jared Bowers went 2 for 3 with three runs scored and five RBIs in a five-inning win over visiting Portage.
Mitchell Brown, Josh Bracken, Ryan Woo, John Grimes, Troy Templeton and Brandon Long each scored two runs.
Portage’s Shane Baker went 2 for 3 and had his team’s only hits.
Patton 13-4, Bedford 6-0
PATTON – Patton clobbered Bedford in the completion of a suspended game on Thursday, then downed the visitors in the regularly scheduled contest.
Shane Mallin homered and doubled and knocked in two runs in the suspended game, while Zarek Evanskey doubled and also drove in two runs.
Wes Foor drove in two runs for Bedford.
Three hurlers combined for the Patton shutout in Thursday’s contest. Dylan Corl collected three hits for the hosts and drove in a run, while Brandon Crawford drove in two.
Brad Winegardner had two hits for Bedford.
Richland 5, St. Michael 2
Cameron Kaminsky was 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs as Richland downed St. Michael.
Alex Paros added two hits and scored a pair of runs, while Ryan Orlovsky drove in a pair. Richland hurler Bobby Varner fanned 10 and allowed just five hits in a complete game effort.
Cody Mickus led St. Michael by going 2 for 4 with an RBI. Brady Wright fanned six while taking the loss.

Delweld sweeps Ketrow via forfeit
Delweld picked up a pair of forfeit wins over Ketrow Insurance when the Altoona squad did not bring enough players to Point Stadium on Thursday.
The two wins runs Delweld’s winning streak to eight games.
Laurel Auto Group 4, Rail Birds 3
Ryan Matsko drove in two runs to help Laurel Auto Group past Altoona’s Rail Birds during Thursday’s early game at Roxbury Park. Anthony Piccolini scored twice and swiped three bases in the victory while Joe Fearer supplied three hits.
Eric Grace and Caleb Palko each had two hits for the Rail Birds.
Game 2 did not finish in time for this edition of The Tribune-Democrat.
Berkley Hills Renegades 13
Laurel Auto Group 1
Oliver Girman had two hits and two RBIs, and Ryan Uhl had two doubles and two RBIs as first-place Berkley Hills Renegades beat Laurel Auto Group in Wednesday’s late game at Point Stadium.
A.J. Rievel struck out eight batters in a six-inning outing.
Anthony Piccolini had a single and a walk for Laurel Auto.
