Man dies amid brawl at wedding in downtown Philly

PHILADELPHIA — Police say a man died of a heart attack amid a big brawl that broke out among people attending two different wedding receptions in downtown Philadelphia.

The fight involving dozens of people happened early Sunday at a hotel in the Society Hill neighborhood. Police say a 57-year-old suffered a fatal heart attack outside the reception, but they don’t know if he was involved in any of the fights.

Fifteen-year-old Max Schultz was staying at the hotel with his family for his birthday. He says he used his phone to take video as he saw dozens of people in tuxedos and ball gowns fighting before police came in to control the situation. He posted a clip (seen below) online.

Three people were arrested. Police say they don’t know what started the brawl, but that alcohol was involved.
