In Brief | Police: Pa. man molested girl, 4, on transit bus

PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh man was being held on charges that he molested a 4-year-old girl on a Port Authority of Allegheny County transit bus.

Port Authority police say 47-year-old Craig West was seen reaching under the girl's shirt and touching her Thursday night. Another bus rider told the girl's mother what happened and after it was reported, the girl later told police the same story.

Online court records don't list an attorney for West who remained in custody overnight and was awaiting arraignment on charges including indecent assault.

It was not immediately clear if West would remain jailed or be released Friday.
