CANTON — A western Pennsylvania teenager is being accused of beating to death a 36-year-old man.
Police say 19-year-old Tyrone Broughton had a fight with Theodore Wilkins on Tuesday in front of a home belonging to Henry Colvin. Police say Broughton kicked Wilkins as he lay on the ground. The incident occurred in the town of Washington, about 30 miles southwest of Pittsburgh.
Wilkins later left the area. A friend found Wilkins unresponsive on Wednesday. Wilkins died in a hospital. An autopsy found Wilkins died from head trauma.
Broughton has been charged with homicide and aggravated assault. Colvin is facing assault charges.
