SUTERSVILLE — A Pittsburgh-area teenager has been struck by a freight train and killed.

Authorities say 18-year-old Dustin Chenault was struck by a CSX coal train Sunday afternoon in Sutersville.

State police say Chenault was walking on the railroad tracks in the town 20 miles southeast of Pittsburgh when he was struck.

Chenault was a senior at Yough Senior High School. Officials say grief counselors will be available at the school throughout the day Monday.
