JOHNSTOWN —
Nikki Babik and Michael Slatcoff were married May 26, 2012, at Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, Johnstown.
The Rev. Alan Thomas performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated a Nuptial Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Sue Babik of Johnstown.
The groom is the son of Greg and Pam Slatcoff of Sandy Lake, Mercer County.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Allison (Wild) Beindorf as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kate Matko, sister of the groom; Cristen Babik, sister-in-law of the bride; Kati Billow, cousin of the bride; Katie Hardie; Amber Slatcoff; and Stefanie Trouten.
Craig Smeltz was the best man.
Groomsmen were Jeff Matko, brother-in-law of the groom; Joseph Babik and Brian Babik, brothers of the bride; Jeff Abraham; Kyle Kennedy; and Brian Rodgers.
Finley Slatcoff was the flower girl.
Ryan Matko, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer.
A reception was held at This Is It, Johnstown.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Punta Cana.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Bethany College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in sports management, and a 2007 graduate of Seton Hill University, where she earned a master’s degree in business administration.
She is employed by Seton Hill University as an assistant athletic director.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Lock Haven University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
He is a police officer in the city of Pittsburgh.
The newlyweds reside in Pittsburgh.
