Karen Garman and Michael Filia were married June 20, 2009, at Westmont Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Douglas Stevens Jr., pastor, performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of the late Richard and Barbara Garman, formerly of Johnstown.
The groom is the son of Charles and Jean Filia of Johnstown.
Presented in marriage by her uncle, Lawrence Garman Jr., the bride was attended by her sister, Lisa Garman, as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Deana Mondi of Johnstown, sister of the groom; Laura Clark of Mason Neck, Va.; Diane Ray of Knoxville, Tenn.; Michelle Callihan of Johnstown; and Betsie Neff of Osterburg.
Frank Filia of Marlton, N.J., was his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Tim Ayres of Johnstown; Chris Miller of Johnstown; Lou Richutto of Johnstown; Jay Parkins of Elizabethtown, Lancaster County; and Steve Marsh of Taiwan.
Brad Callihan was the vocalist.
A reception was held at Sunnehanna Country Club, Westmont.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Bermuda.
The newlyweds reside in Johnstown.
