Lea Valenty and Ron Jarvie were married Sept. 22, 2012, at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona.
The Rev. John Gibbons performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated a Nuptial Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Lorraine Valenty of Northern Cambria.
The groom is the son of Ronald and Lisa Jarvie of Bakerton.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Shanna Kirsch as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jordan Jarvie, Angela Waibel, Jennifer Beckett and Katie Drotar.
Seth Jarvie was the best man.
Groomsmen were Mark Valenty, Phil Sever, Eric Goodlin and Will Jarvie.
Sophia Waibel was the flower girl.
Luca Waibel was the ringbearer.
A reception was held at The Casino at Lakemont, Altoona.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Bora Bora.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Pitt-Johnstown.
She is employed by Vitalize Consulting Solutions.
The groom is a 2009 graduate of Pitt-Johnstown.
He is employed by the Pennsylvania State Police.
The newlyweds reside in Carlisle.
