JOHNSTOWN —
Staff Sgt. Teresa M. Welsh and Matthew L. Parks were married May 26, 2012, at St. Catherine Roman Catholic Church, Toledo, Ohio.
The Rev. Robert Reinhart, retired pastor, performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated a Nuptial Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Mary Welsh of Toledo, Ohio, and the late David Welsh.
The groom is the son of Larry and Susan Parks of Johnstown.
Presented in marriage by her mother, the bride was attended by her sisters, Liz Welsh and Ann Welsh as maids of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ashley McGaha of Beavercreek, Ohio; Erin Lelak of Dayton, Ohio; Meredith Domalshi of Toledo; and Melissa Rice of Dayton.
Jason Butler and Jay Ropp, both of Dayton, were the best men.
Ushers were Doug Moss Jr. of Dayton and Tim Pfeifer and Adam Metzger, both of Pittsburgh.
Sylvia Welsh of Toledo, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
A reception was held at Gesu Sullivan Center, Toledo.
The bride and groom honeymooned in St. Lucia.
The bride is a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Toledo, and Wright State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership.
She is employed by Alion Science and Technology, Dayton, and serves in the Air National Guard, based in Toledo.
The groom is a graduate of Bishop McCort Catholic High School and Robert Morris University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in sports management.
He is owner/operator of two bowling pro shops in the Dayton area.
The newlyweds reside in Fairborn, Ohio.
