Heather Erin Kennedy and Mark Michael Kmetz were married May 19, 2012, at Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, Cambria City.
The Rev. Alan Thomas performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated a Nuptial Mass.
The bride is the daughter of David and Connie Kennedy of Johnstown.
The groom is the son of Michael and Jane Kmetz, also of Johnstown.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Jackie Kennedy, sister-in-law of the bride, as matron of honor, and Amy Stevens as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ann Kmetz, sister of groom; Tara Himes; and Frankie Veranese.
David Kmetz was his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Christopher Lee; Nathan Kennedy, brother of the bride; Eric Lee; and Doug Bench.
Ushers were Tim Reeder and Terry Reeder.
Catherine Veranese, Elizabeth Veranese and Kyle Kennedy were the flower girls.
William Kennedy was the ringbearer.
A reception was held at Anthony’s Restaurant, Geistown Borough.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Antigua.
The bride is a graduate of Clarion University, where she earned a master’s degree in rehabilitative sciences.
She is employed by Cambria County Association for the Blind and Handicapped as a program specialist.
The groom is a graduate of Pitt-Johnstown, where he received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
He is employed by PennDOT as a civil engineer.
The newlyweds reside in Johnstown.
