Toni Galayda and Richard Bergen were married Sept. 1, 2012, at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, Geistown Borough.
The Rev. David Peles, pastor, performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated a Nuptial High Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Carol Galayda of Johnstown.
The groom is the son of Richard Bergen and Marilyn Bergen of Altamonte Springs, Fla.
Presented in marriage by her parents, the bride was attended by Theresa Simkovic of Pittsburgh as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amanda Bergen of Florida, sister of the groom; Hilary Bollman of Philadelphia, cousin of the bride; Jacqueline Cardellino of Florida; Maddi Harvey of Johnstown; and Stephanie Novak of Pittsburgh.
Brent Haworth of Florida was the best man.
Ushers were Perry Altadonna of New York; John Cave of New Jersey, uncle of the groom; Christopher Cooper of Florida; Matt Stone of Pittsburgh; and Jordan Yanni of New Hampshire.
Joseph Gaunt was the organist.
Matthew Barabas played the trumpet.
Victoria Bechtold Kush was the vocalist.
Sister Christine Mihelcic, aunt of the bride, and Dr. Edward Mihelcic, uncle of the bride, read Scripture.
Lucas Mihelcic and Benjamin Pollock, cousins of the bride, were the Eucharistic gift bearers.
Carol Galayda, mother of the bride, and Julie Bollman, aunt of the bride, were the Eucharistic Ministers.
Elizabeth and Dane Webb, friends of the family, were the altar servers.
Kirsten and Brynne Cave, cousins of the groom, and Katie Mihelcic, cousin of the bride, were the program attendants.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Rizzo’s Restaurant, Windber.
A reception was held at Frank Pasquerilla Conference Center, Johnstown.
Sister Christine Mihelcic offered the grace at the reception.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Figi of the South Pacific Islands.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Bishop McCort Catholic High School and a 2004 graduate of Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, where she received a bachelor’s degree in communications.
She is a senior information technology recruiter employed by General Dynamics Information Technology, Tampa, Fla.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Lake Brantley High School, Florida, and a 2005 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business.
He is a senior clinical research recruiter employed by Inventiv Health, Tampa.
The newlyweds reside in Riverview, Fla.
