JOHNSTOWN —
Krista Marie Zahurak and Steven Robert Beblar were married Oct. 1, 2011, at
St. Clement Roman Catholic Church, Johnstown.
The Rev. William E. Rosenbaum performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Patricia Zahurak of Johnstown and the late Robert Zahurak.
The groom is the son of Michael and Rosemary Beblar, also of Johnstown.
Presented in marriage by her mother, the bride was attended by her sister, Jackie Zahurak-Richer of Cleveland, as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kim Beblar of Johnstown, sister-in-law of the groom; Ali Yewcic of Ebensburg; Amy Kinsey of Johnstown; and Angela Scipioni of Johnstown.
David Beblar of Johnstown was his brother’s best man.
Ushers were Michael Beblar of Johnstown, brother of the groom; Josh Spaid of Boswell; Jason Kinsey of Johnstown; and Travis Czyrnik.
Brianna and Abigail Kinsey were the flower girls.
Joshua Beblar, cousin of the groom, was the ringbearer.
Stephen Wojnaroski, cousin of the bride, and Bryan Hetzer, cousin of the groom, read Scripture.
A dinner and reception were held at the John Bracken Hall, Tire Hill.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Bishop McCort Catholic High School and a 2008 graduate of Mount Aloysius College, Cresson.
She is an ultrasound technologist employed by Conemaugh Memorial Medical
Center.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Bishop McCort Catholic High School and a 2009 graduate of Mount Aloysius College, Cresson.
In 2010, he graduated from the Police Academy at the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center.
He is a police officer in Richland Township.
The newlyweds reside in Johnstown.
