JOHNSTOWN —
Megan Vassanelli and Alan Tresnicky II were married Aug. 14, 2011, at Heinz Memorial Chapel, Pittsburgh.
The Rev. Mark DeNuzzio performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Sandy Vassanelli of Portage and Max and Julie Pavlovich of Johnstown.
The groom is the son of Alan and Pat Tresnicky of Johnstown.
Presented in marriage by her parents, the bride was attended by Katie Applegate of Philadelphia and Mary Pavlovich, sister of the bride, as maids of honor.
Bridesmaids were Lindsay Pavlovich of Johns-town, sister of the bride; Laura Heinze Bower of Johnstown; and Jordyn Sukenik of Johnstown, cousin of the bride.
Paul Tresnicky and Craig Tresnicky, both of Johnstown, were their brother’s best men.
Groomsmen were Christopher Tresnicky of Waterford, Mich., cousin of the groom; Matt Jacobs of Alexandria, Va.; and Max Pavlovich of Johnstown, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Luke Tresnicky, cousin of the groom; Evon Onusic, cousin of the bride; Jacob St. Clair; and Aaron Henry, cousin of the groom.
Danika Black of Seanor, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.
Chase Tresnicky of Johns-town, son of the bride and groom, was the ringbearer.
Ted Bonora of Alexandria, uncle of the bride, and Rochelle Tresnicky of Waterford, cousin of the groom, read Scripture.
A reception was held at Omni William Penn Hotel, Pittsburgh.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Walt Disney World, Fla.
The bride is a graduate of Penn State, where she received a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
She is employed by Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa as senior catering sales manager/wedding coordinator.
He is a graduate of Pitt-Johnstown, where he received a bachelor’s degree in political science.
He earned a master’s degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh.
He is a substitute teacher in the Johnstown area.
The newlyweds reside in Johnstown.
